Seriously, this game needs a remaster. It's so much fun and has one of the best soundtracks ever. I grew up playing this and have awesome memories of it. A few months ago, I tried to run it on my modern computer and it was almost impossible. I somehow found a way to have it running on Windows 11 and played for hours until I beat it. I miss so much those days, sitting on my Windows 98 PC for hours after school or on weekends late at night. I'm not joking, I almost cried playing this after so many years.

2003? What the... why do i remember this as a 2001-2002 game? maybe i remember wrong, well, this game crashed my computer over and over again, so it worked like this... main menu, listen so super cool music, then i loaded into and oh well i cant remember if it was like a bootcamp you start off in or not, since the game black screen me and only gave me sound most of the times, but i did go into the main menu of this game just to listen to the great music they put there! Memories! <3 Much like Battlefield Vietnam with it's iconic Fortunate son song :)

My favorite of all the 1st-person-shooters I've ever played. I remember buying this in an actual brick and mortar store. Saw the package lying there and thought it looked promising. Did not disappoint a bit. They should do a graphics overhaul and add a new campaign. Don't chance the gameplay. Maybe just fix the incorrect weapon reloading procedures. I think not a single game other than America's Army gets it right, though. It's not rocket-science, damnit. Daaaah, Trungsi.

Iron maiden really made this game stick to my mind like nothing else. Just hours on end listening to BD sing his lungs out and mowing down people and animals that were unable to afford vehicles and hence only deserved death of my choosing.

I've been trying to find the producer who created this OST but I can't find the artist anywhere it says his name is Pablo Delgado Rodriguez but there's a hundred people with that name

My very first true (and perfect) Multiplayer game when we used in those days to have bad, limited connections. Vietcong was such a great game with a bloody funny community on Multi. Remember the map of the harbour in CTF mode and players who were spamming the Vietnamese gunshot . So many good memories.

This game made my childhood, Just Perfect!

In the very opening you hear the radio chatter, like at 0:06 , i once had that sound effect loop in my head for like 3 hours while on mushrooms... Edit: i forgot the reason i came here was to say the MEC loading theme has also been stuck in my head for half my life hahaha
